Meetings

The Council normally meets on a monthly basis with additional ad hoc meetings to consider specific policy issues and additions to the list. In addition to Council's main meetings HBC uses a number of sub-groups who meet on an ad hoc basis to deal with consultation papers from Government. A number of HBC members also contribute to the Joint Committee for Industrial Heritage, for further information please refer to the Sub Groups section.

From time to time the 3 Statutory Advisory Councils to the Department of the Environment i.e. Council for Nature Conservation and the Countryside, Historic Buildings Council and Historic Monuments Council take part in joint meetings to consider areas of mutual interest.
