HBC FIELD VISITS

Members of Council attended a tour of Belfast City Hall in July 2009. Members were given a guided tour during the final stages of a massive refurbishment project. During the tour members were given details of the various stages of restoration work and of the range of techniques used. Belfast City Hall has since reopened to the public.

Members of Council  visited the newly refurbished Ulster Museum, Belfast for a guided tour in December 2009. Council members were most keen to view the redevelopment work and were delighted to have had the opportunity to attend a guided tour with Dr Jim McGreevy, Director of Collections & Interpretation, National Museums Northern Ireland. The Ulster Museum is open to the public and is free of charge.
